- His name is also Juan. At 23, he is the pastor of the local church, but his fate remained unenviable: the family died during a famine, and he himself was left all alone. During one of the raids of a neighboring state, his eyes closed forever, tryaing save a slave.Period: 1680
- This time, Juan remembers what happened in his past lives. He is tormented by memories and therefore wants to throw out his emotions into a work of art.Period: 2012
- In complete secrecy from everyone, he wrote down all his knowledge about the horrors that he had to endure during his life. He wanted to convey a message about the abhorrence of slavery.He planned to release the book by his majority.
