- The joke (underlined) was supposed to be ironic due to the fact gravity pulls things down and when hertz says he can't put it down he is relating it to that.

- We learned that friction is the force resisting the motion of solid surfaces, fluid layers and more sliding against each other. And we learned that there is three types of friction Sliding fiction fluid friction and rolling friction.
