  • Ma'am for me, my favorite is Ampere, because he is the one who demonstrated the magnetic effect based on the direction of the current.
  • In September 1820 Ampere and his friend Francois Arago showed the discovery of Hans Christian Orsted to the members of French Academy of Sciences that a magnetic neddle is deflected by an adjacent electric current.
  • Furthering Orsted experimental work, Ampere showed that two parallel wires carrying electric currents attract each other.
  • depending on whether the currents flow in the same or opposite direction and this laid to the foundation of electrodynamics. In 1827 Ampere was elected a Foreign Member of the Royal society and in 1828, a foreign member of the Royal Swedish Academy of science.
  • And also Ampere also applied this same principle to magnetism , showing the harmony between his law and physicist Charles Augustin de Coulomb's law of magnetic action. He also provided electromagnetic relationship, theorizing the existence of electrodynamic molecule.
