- Germany’s capital fell to the Russians Little was left of its military. They had no confidence on west side when facing north and they had no air force or navy to mention. The country’s economy and hard work was ruined. It had little to no resources. Its only leftover ally was placed on the other side of the world. Germany really had no choice.

- United States and the Soviet Union in no way battled directly, however the two of them always antagonized each other through political maneuvering.

- The Manhattan Project was an experiment attempt all along World War II that created the first nuclear weapons. It was influence by the United States with the support of the United Kingdom and Canada.

- On August 6, 1945, the US dropped a bomb on the town of Hiroshima. The bomb used to be recognized as "Little Boy". Between 90,000 and 166,000 people died from the bomb in the four-month length following the explosion. Estimated that after 5 years there had been over 200,000 deaths as an end result of the bombing.
- August 9th, three days after the US dropped a bomb on Hiroshima, a 2nd bomb was dropped on Nagasaki. This bomb was recognised as "Fat Man.” The damage from the bombings was small, it created difficulty in Nagasaki and many people were evacuated. Between 40,000 and 75,000 people died following the explosion.
- Japan surrendered when the Soviet Union entered the war. The bomb likely forced Japan to surrender so they didn't have to say they had been defeated by a miracle weapon.
