Inthe camps we werehoused, fed, clothed, got basichealth care and were paid 20 cent per day .It was dreams come true but in return we had to work so we wereclearing and building roads, planting trees, defencebuildings and airfields. but after a few year thedaily stipendrisedto fifty cents per day.
