- When we talk about ethics, it's crucial to remember that ethics isn’t just about what’s right or wrong—it’s about understanding and evaluating our moral code. By definition, ethics is the branch of philosophy that deals with questions of morality, including concepts of good and evil, right and wrong, virtue and vice (Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, 11th Edition).
- That’s true. But isn't it more complicated than just understanding our own morals? It’s also about how these morals apply in a rapidly evolving world.
