- Hello I would like to schedule a meeting with admin on Bob's grades.
- Yes we certainly can do that! Come here around 4:30
- Mrs. Carter and Bob have a conference with the administrator, teacher (Mrs. Gingrich) and guidance counselor. The mom keeps complaining about Bob's grades when there is only so much the school can do to change his grade. It is up to Bob if he really wants his grade changed but it seems like he doesn't care!
- We have done the best we can. Have him complete the assigned book work and he will have a passing grade.
- Mom stop I don't care at this point!
- I need Bob to have good grades!
- There are many different endings, some kids do the work to get a passing grade, some do half some do none. In Bob's situation his mom forced him to the point where he could only do a quarter of it because he didn't care. Mrs. Carter gave up.It's so challenging for Mrs. Gingrich as a teacher because it's really hard to make kids want to do work. But also the kid sometimes doesn't show initiative and desire to work hard which is very challenging to fix, usually the parent cares more.
