- What's wrong, Amelia? Your principal called and told me you have been failing your assignments and skipping class. Is everything alright?
- I don't like school anymore! People in my class have been making fun of me online. I know it's all in good fun, but the things they say are hurtful. I don't feel safe enough to go to school.
- The bottom line is that your daughters needs to get her grades up! If she doesn't do so then she will have to repeat this grade.
- I understand that your daughter is being cyberbullied, and I am sorry for that. However, your child's academic record is very poor. She needs to attend school.
- It seems that you do not understand at all. My daughter is being bullied online by your students. You need to do something about this.
- The vice principal said that I need to get my grades up if I want to pass this year. But it's just so hard for me to concentrate in school! Being around all of the people who bully me online is really hard. They have even started to be mean to me while in school too, I really don't know what to do.
- Instead of blaming you for what's happening the vice principal should be talkin to the bullies and tell them to stop! Maybe they don't understand what's going on.
- That sounds really hard to go through, I'm sorry. People can be so cruel! Maybe you can try to talk to him and then he'll listen. Maybe he just needs to hear it from your perspective and not your moms. I will go with you to his office tomorrow!
- Your mother already talked to me about the situation. I know it must be hard to deal with bullies, and I have talked to them about their conduct. You still need to get your grades up. You have missed several drama club meetings as well. I am afraid that we have to take you out of the club until you turn in your missing assignments.
- He isn't listening to me, I feel like that made the situation worse! The bullies are over there talking about me leaving his office, now they're going to cyberbully me even worse.
- I am really sorry this is happening to you. They are being really mean to you and it's unfair! I don't know what to do but wait it out and see if it gets better sometime soon.
- It's really sad that the school's not helping her. At least she's not failing all of her classes. The teachers let her do homework from home and do class online until the bullying stops. The technology teacher is the only one who isn't letting her do that. Maybe we can talk to him and see if he will change his mind so she can pass.
- Amelia hasn't been to school in over a month! I am so angry at the school for not stopping the bullies! I hate seeing my best friend so upset. I went to her house yesterday and she didn't want to see me. Her mom said that she's really depressed and is not in the mood to see anyone.
