- We need to unite. Germany, separated in so many parts isn't strong enough to rebuild itself. We need to help.
- After the War, Germany was divided into four zones and it was crippled. Its economic state was terrible and people couldn't get fed if they werent allowed to rebuild its industries, so France and Britain decided to join and form one zone called Trizonia in 1946. It then became known as West Germany. In 1948 they reformed the currency and there were signs that Germany was succesfully recovering.
- It could be dangerous to rebuild Germany so fast... but I agree. Lets unite our zones and call it Trizonia for now.
- OH NO! Germany is getting strong again... it can threaten my beautiful USSR!!!

- Stalin didn't want Germany or the West side to get better as he feared that the eastern, communist side would feel like they could do better as well and would fight against his communist reign. He organized the Berlin blockade
