- We just doubled the size of our land what is he thinking?
- Thank you for selling me Louisiana territory for $15 million dollars.
- Thomas Jefferson purchase the Louisiana territory in 1803 from the French. Purchasing this land doubled the size of America.

- Look Clark, this land is beautiful!
- This is Louis and clark on their expedition through Kansas. They thought the land was absolutely beautiful.
- Zebulon Pike
- This land is horrible, what a waste.
- This is Pike exploring Kansas he is not impressed with anything that he see's. He thinks this land will do no good for the Americans.
- Long thought this land was a wasteland. He thought it was desert, he agreed with Pike and thought it would do no good for Americans to have this land.

- This land is useless wasteful and is no good because it is a desert.
- Jackson's Speech
- "These people are savages" they need to be moved. We could make this land good, but they are ruining it!
- This is Jackson giving his speech about how much good we could do with this land and how the Native Americans are ruining it. He said it very politically so nobody thinks he is talking bad about the Native Americans.

- This shows the Americans kicking the Indians out of their homes and to move because the Americans want this land.
