- It's nice to meet you Josef I am Isabel from Cuba and it was my dream to get to Miami
- It is nice to meet you to Isabel I was originally from Germany but because I was Jewish we had to leave and try to go to Cuba because of Hitler and the Nazi invasion
- My family and I decided to leave Cuba after Fidel Castro the leader of Cuba announced that we could. It was hard leaving our home but we were leaving in poverty and we hoped that Florida would be more welcoming and have more jobs. When traveling the hardest thing we went through was losing my best friend Ivan who was but by a shark. Even on our journey a tanker almost hit our boat and we got knocked into the Bahamas. and right before we made it to the US my preganat mother had my baby brother and I had to fight the waves and cost guard to make it to the land. But it was all very worth and I have an amazing live in Florida.
- Oh cool, i was from Germany and i had to get out because of the Nazis attacking my family. We hopped on a boat to Cuba for freedom, but sadly only my dad stayed there. The capitan said that we had to go back to Germany. But i went off to France but that got invaded and my mom and my sister died. It was a rough journey but it worked out. I had to act like an adult because my dad was sick in the head so i had to straighten him up.
