- Only 2/5 miles done?! Oh come on!
- There will always be unexpected things in life, and when you feel like you can't face them you have to have the people you trust there with you. I made a mistake about the person that I trusted to be my first, because the unexpected happened and he left me. He broke my heart and when I needed him the most, he was gone. The point is I only trust a few, and I have walls up that I won't anyone break down again.

- Hey there, my name is Jaylen Quinn! I am 23 years old, I dance for Emberwood Dance Academy in London, I have no love life ( which is totally fine with me ). There really is not much to say about my life though. I like how things are right now, and I wouldn't change it. I am trying to forget somethings in my past and when I am dancing I forget everything. It's like it's just me in the room and all my worries go away.

- I am so excited for the auditions next week! We have to be on our A game though!
- If you think dancing is just showing off your tutus and wearing tight tights, you're wrong. We dancers work hours and hours getting our toes pointed and our bodies dancing elegantly. We dance on bruises, blisters, and aching feet. I love it though! Yes, the costumes are beautiful, but it does not matter. Everyone is focused on how you dance. That is why we have to always stay in shape and train so hard.

- This lovely lady right here is my mother, Clara Quinn. She is my role model, my rock, and the most independent woman I know. You see, my father left us when I was just a baby and my mom has always been there to take care of me on her own. I really do love her, but sometimes she just really annoying. She's always on me about finding a nice man for myself, but right now I am not looking for that. I know she wants what's best for me, but I'm just not ready to get into a relationship.
- Look mum, I really appreciate that, but you have to understand that I am just not ready yet.
- I know what you're probably thinking, and no we are just good friends and dance partners. Freddie Ross is an amazing guy with a big ego and heart, but I don't know if it will ever work out between us. Don't get me wrong, he's a really good looking guy, but he's just not for me. Anyways, a while ago I was struggling and when Freddie heard about this he offered me the spare room in his apartment. Without him, I don't know where I would be.
- I always dance best when I am with you, love.
- Life is good right now, I just wish I had the other part of me with me. I wish it was me instead of her. You know the scene at the beginning of this story? Well that was me 5 years ago giving birth at the age of 18 right after my ex left me. I had a stillborn baby, and I could not prevent it from happening. Why can't my baby girl be in my hands right now? Why did she have to go to?? She will always be apart of me though.
