- John
- There was a prisoner named John. He had a friend named Chris, who one day gave him a monkey paw that grants 3 wishes. John hated prison very much and knew exactly what to wish for. That wish was to be able to see his family again, and even escape prison.
- His one wish was granted and he finally escaped Alcatraz with a boat already prepared for someone. He knew of a spot that had a tv and a comfortable place to rest. After he broke out of his cell, he climbed down the hill.
- He thought that he would get away without anyone realizing and no one knowing it was him that escaped. But then he saw the news and the newspaper and knew he was wanted. He was very worried and was afraid of making a 2nd wish.
- His second wish was for no one to know that he escaped which he thought was a genius idea. But this wish made him be forgotten by everyone. He even tried to talk to the police and they had no idea who he was and thought he was crazy.
- Because he wished that everyone would forget that he escaped everyone forgot who he was, including his family. After he went to his house with his family, they freaked out because they forgot who he was. His wife and daughter had no idea what he was doing there.
- He was so sad that no one knew who he was that he made his 3rd and final wish. His final wish was to die with his family remembering who he was. He finally rested in peace knowing that he wouldn't be forgotten by the people he loved.
