- Rising action: he is determined to save the restraunt fuelded by the love for his family and community, Arturos romance with a new girl in town Carmen which adds personal stakes for his fight of the restraunt, his effort to organize a protest and raise the awareness about his importance to save the cultural heritage. As well as rising conflict between his family and the developer. Climax: He and his community confront the developer during a city counsel meeting, He delivers a touching speech about the importance of the restraunt to the community and urges the council to reject developers plans,His grandmother unexpectedly arrives and reveals a secret about the history of their restraunt, adding to the emotional impact of his speech and uniting the community to resist the developers ideas.

- The falling action: The fate of the restraunt is revealed, moved by Arturos speech and community support, His family figure out the changes brought by the resolution, including the preservaation of their restraunt and community. He uses it as personal growth because of his new found understanding of community history and activism.
