- Summary: Miss strangeworth tells the tourists about how her father and grandfather built this town . she also tells the tourists about the roses, how her grandmother planted them, her mother took care of them like she does now. she tells them how she believes that she is the owner of this town. these roses symbolize Miss strangeworth's family and reputation, this is why she cares so much about them .

- "My grandfather built the firsthouse on Pleasant Street," Mygrandmother planted these roses, and my mother tended them, just as I do.
- "Good morning,". I am fine thanks for asking
- Summary: Miss Strangeworth goes grocery shopping in Mr lewis's store. while she is there she suspects that some thing is wrong with him so she asks him. also when she is there she bumps into Martha harper and thinks that something is wrong with her to. she does not ask Martha how she's doing like she did Mr lewis.

- "And good morning to you, too, Mr. Lewis,". Mr. lewis are you okay , you don't look well.
- stop judging us and our baby, we know how to raise our child.
- Summary: in this slide Miss Strangeworth starts judging helen crane and her baby. She kept telling her and her husband that their baby will grow up and expect luxury in her life, become spoilt.
