- In the story, Jimmy likes to make comics. When he gets older he wants to work for Walt Disney Studios where he can help to make there movie scenes.

- Jimmy's father is not a very big fan of him and his drawings. This is because his father is focused on his work and baseball. Jimmy is not into baseball, so he and his father don't have the best relationship.

- Charley Beemer is "prince" in Jimmy's school, which means that whatever Charley does everyone does it. Charley likes to read Jimmy's comics after his baseball game.
- Jimmy's uncle has musicals at a theater that he runs. Jimmy like to go there and make comics about where his superhero characters save the show.
- Jimmy thinks of his sisters as brats. He thinks that they are very needy.
