I mean... a little bit but I never thought of it that much. why you know how old the stars are.

Deal! the sun is just a star and theirs older stars than the sun. listen just look up into the night sky and look at how theres stars that look very bright and some look very dim. the dimmer stars are the older stars because that shows how much older they are. brighter the star looks, the closer it actually is and the younger the star is. but the dimmer the star looks, the farther the star really is and the older it is.
Pfff. Easy! Solar age is based on compistion of hydrogen and helium, earth age was determined by radiometric dating of zircon minerals. Meteorite age ws determined dating from 2 to 4.8 billion years ago. and the half-life (t 1/2) of a radioactive isotope is the time it takes for half of the mineral you started with to decay, the half-life of each isotope is constant and is a good example of expoetial decay. Each half-life that passes reduces the current amount of material by half each time.
dang that's really crazy, so then how do you know how old our solar system is and what a half-life is?
