- Turning Point: The turning point of the storyy is when the narrator is i the mans room on the eight night look at the man. The narrator open the latern till a ray of light shot out. The boy looks at the dull blue eye. It was like a vulture. The narrator waited a long time before exicuting him... then at the right time. AHHHH! "It was one scream and one scream only"
- "It was his eye! Yes it was that!"
- "A neighbor came to the police station and said they heard a scream"
- Falling action: The falling action is when the polie arrive. The police got news that a neighbor heard a scream and wanted to make sire everything was alright. The narrator wanted the men to come inside because he had nothing to hide.

- Resolution: The resolution is when the narrator conffeses that he killed the man. He conffesed to the police because the heart beat kept on getting louder and louder and whn he conffesed the heart beat stopped.
- "Villians, Enough! I admit the deed! Tear up the planks! Here Here! Its the beating of his hideous heart!
