- Mum I really want to ballet after school on a Monday. Some of the girls in the year above have just started and it looks so fun.
- I already have to take you to swimming on Wednesdays and your brother to football on Thursdays, I just can't afford to take another evening off work to get you there. I'm so sorry.
- Don't worry! There is an app which connects parents together and organises car sharing between them so I could get a lift with another parent.
- That could work! But how would I know you were safe in a car with a parent I don't know?
- There are safety features in place, the school has to verify each driven and there is real time tracking of the ride so you will always know where I am.
- This does sound good, I could start giving other children lifts to swimming and football.
- Yes this would mean you could share the cost of the journey with other parents and meet other parents in the community.
