Every year, young Jesus and his family went to Jerusalem for attended the Festival of the Passover.
I'm so excited!!
I agree, let's come again next year!
After the festival, while his parents were returning home, Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but they were unaware of it.

Jesus' parents looked for him among their friends and relatives but didn't have good news. Until they went back to Jerusalem and found him sitting among the teachers listening and asking question.
“Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.”
“Why were you searching for me? Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?”
Both Jesus' parents were confused by what he meant but did not question him.

Then he went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. This experience made Jesus grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.
I'm glad my kid was obedient, I will treasure all of this in my heart.
I'm glad we found him.
