- Hi! I'm Yuri. I live here. This is my home Mesopotamia. Mesopotamia is a riverside civilization. This is the Tigris River.
- We get all our water from the Tigris River and Euphrates River. There are three parts of the city which I live in. The sacred area, the walled city and the outer town. This is my house in the walled city. It is made up of sun-dried bricks and stones. We were the first ones to make columns arches and domes to hold up the weight of the roof.
- We are in the sacred area now. We are at the Ziggurat, which is a Mesopotamian temple. Here the priest is considered as god on earth. Usually the Nobility (Upper class) are the priests. This is my family, me, my mom, My Dad, My Grandma, My baby brother Rio, And my 3 sisters, Ros, Anima and Mira. My dad is the head of the house but us girls are still in charge of some things. Boys go to school whereas girls learn dance and music. My family are the middle-class citizens. The lower class are slaves to the Nobility but they still have rights and have to be treated with respect.
