Good day, everyone! So, we are task to make a presentation about the process of stratification.
We hope you will spare us some of your time to read this.

So, let's get started! Are you all set? Let's start with the weathering process.

STEP 2
Erosion occurs when rocks are carried to new locations by natural forces such as water and wind. One such example is right here.

Deposition occurs when rock or sediment particles break down into rock fragments and are deposited in another area such as river bottoms, ocean floors, or other land masses.
It is also the depositing of silt brought by wind, moving water, the sea, or ice.

Lastly, compaction refers to the process of raising soil density and eliminating air, typically by mechanical means. The size of the individual soil particles remains same, and no water is eliminated, much as the rock here.

We hope that our presentation has helped you learn something new!
Thank you for making the effort to get here!
