- Yugoslavia was formed after WW1 and united similar ethncities in one area.
- We can unite similar ethncities into one country!
- I'm of Albanian ethnicity, and I don't agree with you
- Despite being further divided into republics...
- Having many ethnicities in one country caused lots of conflict.
- Well I am a Serb and don't agree with you either
- An end to what was Yugloslavia, which is now Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia, and Serbia and Montenegro.
- After economic and political crisis, Yugoslavia broke into 5 countries.
- After their independence was declared, ethnic cleansing began.
- In Kosovo...
- The Albanian majority was trying to remove the Serb minority.
- Ethnic cleansing was also occurring, but this time over religion
- In Bosnia...
- The Muslim religious group was being removed through what is considered borderline genocide
- From 1991-2001, many wars and conflicts broke out in the territory of Yugoslavia
- What can we do to help our people?
- Most conflicts were solved through Peace Accords, but still have lasting effects in present day.
