- Enfield ,Utterson's cousin, was talking about what he saw earlier that morning. He saw a man trample a little girl and the man tried to walk away but got pulled back by Enfield and he made the man pay the family to not say anything about .He saw the man enter Jekyll's house and gave the family a check.
- Incident of the letter and the remarkable incident of Dr Lanyon

- After opening Jekyll's safe he saw Jekyll's will which stated that in case of his disappearance or death all his belongings would go to Mr Hyde. After the incident Utterson was invited to Jekyll's party, Utterson mentions the will once Jekyll heard him hr turned pale and told Utterson to take care of Hyde and make sure he doesn't get in trouble if anything happened to him

- The scene starts with the maid whose talking about love and romance whilst looking at the moon, when she realises two men below .She described one of the men as kind looking and the the other one she recognised him as Mr Hyde he suddenly and started to beat the other man with his cane till he died.
- Dr Lanyon's perspective and Henry Jekyll's full statement of the case.
- Utterson calls on Jekyll and finds out he is extremely ill, Jekyll then tells Utterson that he is no longer friends with Hyde and he won't see him ever again. After 2 months Jekyll was back to his friendly and social able self. He doesn't want to meet Utterson which starts to concern him. At a party Jekyll was hosting Utterson met Lanyon and saw he was really ill and was obviously near death.
- During their usual Sunday walk Utterson and Enfield saw the door where Enfield saw Mr Hyde enter and hand over the check in chapter 1.Poole calls Utterson because they fear Jekyll was murdered because he looks and sounds different and won't come out of his study. Poole believes it's Hyde that killed Jekyll. Utterson breaks down the study door. He saw Hyde killing himself.
- Jekyll asked Lanyon to come to his house early in the morning and collect a draw from his laboratory and inspect it, later on there will be a man to collect the draw. Hyde came to Lanyon's house and showed Lanyon that he is actually Jekyll. Lanyon is shocked. He doesn't tell anyone when he is near death he gave Utterson a letter which he couldn't open till he and Jekyll are dead. On the other hand Jekyll felt pressured all his life and finally admits to what he has done.
