  • Thomas Jefferson purchased lots of land from Napoleon. This doubled the size of the US and is known as one of the greatest expansions in history.

  • In 1803, I made a deal with the French to buy all the white land on this map! It doubled the size of our country!
  • Lewis and Clark described Kansas as a great place to be. They loved all the foods and nature except for the water.
  • This land is very beautiful. So plentiful of animals and foods!

  • I agree! We discovered around 123 miles of great land, although the water was not too good.
  • Zebulon Pike was the first to travel this territory by land. He described kansas as "a desert."

  • These Indian tribes are creating nonsense! I need to direct a speech to our congress about this ongoing issue and convince everyone to move these Indians.

  • The indians were moved to area in Kansas because of the Americans. This was very bad for them because they did not know how to live in this new land.
  • This is so unfair. We have to be moved to unknown lands because Americans don't want us where we used to be.
