- Julius Caesar was the best leader of the army that time, so he was treated as god of war of Rome,but the Senate had argued with him.
- That’s right! We, the sanate is important than dictatorship!
- After winning the war with Gaul, the Senate didn’t let Julius to cross the river on the way to Rome.The Senate didn’t like Julius having more power than them. The Senate knew that Julius would become dictator after coming back from war.

- While Senate planning assassination, Julius became dictator of Rome! The Senate needed to kill him fast. Julius had belief from many people including his army. He became dictator at 46 BCE until his whole life.

- The Senate didn’t tell anyone about them killing Julius. They needed a place where no one would come and no one would see them.
- They assassinated Julius in front of Pompey's theater ruins in 44 BCE, march, 15. He went to see his future and the fortune teller said be careful at march, and Julius really got killed by the Senate.
- After the Senate told citizens that Julius Caesar died, a funeral was opened, in the Roman forum. At his funeral, Mark Antony gave a big speech in front of people. He talked about his sad and angry feelings at speech.
