- The Enlightenment was a philosophical movement that began in the eighteenth century, at that time intellectuals used ideas from the Scientific Revolution to examine some aspects of life.
- This era was called the Age of Enlightenment, since the ideas that emerged during this period ended the fear that triggered the war between religions

- The French Revolution was a social and political movement that emerged in 1789. It created a new political era in Europe.
- One of our most important contributions was the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen, proclaiming the equality of all men before the law, political and religious freedom, the right to private property and that sovereignty resides in the nation more than in the monarch.

- this time of change was a dichotomy, on the one hand it was a transformation of the good, begun in England in the eighteenth century and spread during the nineteenth century.
- During the Revolution, there was a great change in society, which went from an economy based on agriculture, to a different way based on the manufacture of products made by machines in industrial factories.
- The Industrial Revolution changed too many things like social life around the world. There was a very important growth in the cities and two new classes emerged like the middle class and the working class.
