- The word that came from ה׳ to ירמיהו said;
- Pottery House
- ק֥וּם וְיָרַדְתָּ֖ בֵּ֣ית הַיּוֹצֵ֑ר וְשָׁ֖מָּה אַשְׁמִיעֲךָ֥ אֶת־דְּבָרָֽי
- ה׳ sent ירמיהו there to show that he is everywhere even in random places like a pottery house
- Slide: 2
- ירמיהו went to the pottery house and saw that the potters vessel had spoiled. He didn't just get upset but he made it into a different vessel. Hashem uses this as an analogy saying הֲכַיּוֹצֵ֨ר הַזֶּ֜ה לֹא־אוּכַ֨ל לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת לָכֶ֛ם בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֑ה הִנֵּ֤ה כַחֹ֙מֶר֙ בְּיַ֣ד הַיּוֹצֵ֔ר כֵּן־אַתֶּ֥ם בְּיָדִ֖י בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל

- ה׳ tells ירמיהו that he could decree that any nation or kingdom could be uprooted or destroyed. He says that he could also build and plant a nation to grow. He lets him know that if בנ י changes their ways than he could change his decree. ה׳ tells ירמיהו to tell B Y, כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר ה׳ הִנֵּ֨ה אָנֹכִ֜י יוֹצֵ֤ר עֲלֵיכֶם֙ רָעָ֔ה וְחֹשֵׁ֥ב עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם מַחֲשָׁבָ֑ה שׁ֣וּבוּ נָ֗א אִ֚ישׁ מִדַּרְכּ֣וֹ הָרָעָ֔ה וְהֵיטִ֥יבוּ דַרְכֵיכֶ֖ם וּמַעַלְלֵיכֶֽם
