- Ella, Dallas, and Indie all sat together at lunch, they got to know each other and became the best of friends. The End!
- After Ella met Indies parents, they went upstairs to the play room. Ella told Indie that she liked how sweet her moms were. Indie explained to Ella that she used to get bullied for having two moms. Kids at school would call her different because she wasn't like everybody else. But Indies parents taught her that families can come in all shapes and sizes but as long as they love each other and treat each other kindly, it doesn't matter.
- Indie then asked Ella what she wanted to do. She asked her about playing with Barbies but Ella said she didn't like Barbies. So she suggested they could play dress up but Ella didn't want to do that either. Ella wanted to play the video game or play basketball outside. Indie said she's never met a girl that didn't like Barbies or dress up.
- When Ella got back home parents asked her how her playdate went. She told her mom about how Indie had two moms that were so nice. She also told her mom that Indie said she had never met a girl that didn't like playing Barbies or dress up. She felt insecure about herself and felt she was not girly enough. Her parents told her it's okay to be a tomboy and be different. Girls don't have to dress up and do girly things just because thats what "normal." Ella's mom told her she is not like everybody else, she is unique.
