Storyboard Description
Fever 1793 is a story about a young girl who managed to survive the Yellow Fever epidemic, and with that faced many challenges. My favorite scene from Yellow fever 1793 was when robbers broke into the coffeehouse, and Grandfather was killed. Earlier in the story Mattie and Grandfather returned to Philadelphia, and robbers broke into the coffee house. Mattie tried to hold off the robbers, but wasn't able. This racket woke Grandfather up, causing him to come downstairs to the robbers. Grandfather was awake now, so he pulled out his gun, and fought the robbers. Unfortunately, Grandfather lost, and was killed. This is important because now Mattie is all alone, and is forced to become more independent and mature.
