  • -People in the Indus Valley had pets such as monkeys and lizards.-We found out about all of this because there were animal prints left on the ground.
  • People in the Indus Valleyused mud bricks to build their houses because it is sustainable to the weather. The mud is dried in the sun or in a kiln.
  • -People in the Indus Valley built new houses on top of old houses. -The cause of the abandoning of the Indus valley is becasue there was overcrowding with important buildings like the Great Bath at Mohejo-Daro were built over.
  • -For farming, they had irrigation systems similar to farming in Egypt and MesopotamiaSometimes there would be a change in the river and there would be reapeated flooding which may lead to built-up salt, making it hard to grow crops.
  • -People in the Indus Valley stood on brick shower trays and tipped water over themselves from a jar.- The dirty water flowed out of their houses throungh pipes into a drain in the street.
  • People in the Indus valley traded since they had no money .
  • -People in the Indus Valley used seals to label and mark packaged goods. They used a boat to transport goods.
