- Sam and his friend rohith are playing a game of basketball against each other and they both want to see how much they have improved since there last game.

- Sam is 24 feet away from the net and the next is 10 feet tall , Sam wants to figure out at what angle does he need to shoot the ball so that it will go in

- Sam decides to use the trigonometry that he learned from his maths teacher priya mama to solve this problem; he uses the equation tan-1 (10/24) to get an answer of 42%, so he has to shoot the ball in a 42% angle.

- rohith got the ball and is now going for a dunk, he wants to know how high he needs to jump

- rohith uses what he knows to find out how high the hoop is; he uses the equation 35 times Sine 20 to get his answer. after doing his equation he got a answer of 12.0 feet
- Rohith decides to move back more and now wants to find out how far is he from under the net
