- Garrett Graves introduces the bill into the House of Representatives
- This new bill protects minors' data from being sold and used by companies.
- 60 senators vote to end her filibuster.
- The bill is assigned to the Committee and Subcommittee
- Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. Subcommittee- Research and Technology
- I like this bill, I think it should pass.
- So do I.
- The Majority Whip says that 2 members are voting against the bill, but the Minority whip says that 3 members are voting for the bill. Therefore, the bill passes the House of Representatives.
- 2 members of the majority are voting with the minority.
- The bill has passed the House!
- 3 members of the minority are voting with the majority.
- The bill moves to the senate, and a senator begins to filibuster
- Will she shut up????
- This bill is awful!!! I hate it because its so bad and blah blah..
- The bill passes the Senate, as all but one senator voted yay.
- All but 1 Senator voted in favor of this bill. The bill has passed.
- Finally...
- I don't like this bill, but I don't want to be politically known for vetoing it, so I will use a pocket veto.
- The President decides that he does not like the bill, so he uses a pocket veto. A pocket veto is where he leaves the bill on his desk for 10 days, and Congress adjourns in that time, so the bill automatically dies.
