yeah, but Locke some people can barely afford to live because they are paid so little, the government has to step in and make sure everyone survives

sure people need money, but making businesses pay a certain amount isn't the answer. Let the market decide on wages
but what if the market is unfair? Not everyone has the same power. If a company can get away with paying someone a tiny amount, they would just abuse it. Someone has to make sure workers aren't getting screwed
