- Act IV Scene 2
- Brutus and Cassius have fled Rome. Now Antony, Octavius, and Lepidus are discussing their plans for Rome. They discuss the senators and Caesar's will.
- Act IV Scene 2
- Lepidus leaves the room and Antony explains to Octavius that he is not going to give Lepidus any real power and that he will be only used to fight.
- Act IV Scene 3
- Brutus asks Lucius how his talk with Cassius wet as he tells Brutus that Cassius is acting cold.
- Act IV Scene 3
- Cassius arrives and Brutus asks him to speak privately.
- Cassius accuses Brutus of doing him wrong. This leads to a heated argument between the two. they have different ideas of what they should do to ease the people's anger. A poet then enters ans eases the tension causing the two to make up.
- Brutus and Cassius have now made up and they talk over wine. Brutus informs Cassius that Portia has killed herself. Later that night, the ghost of Caesar appears to Brutus and tells him that they will meet again at Philippi.
