- All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter.
- All hail Macbeth. Hail to thee, Thane of Cawdor.
- What in the world is going on?!
- All hail Macbeth. Hail to thee, Thane of Glamis
- Thane of Cawdor? King? This has to be blasphemy!!
- All hail Macbeth. Hail to thee, Thane of Glamis
- Shakespeare and Banquo are heading back from war when they run into three mysterious witches who apparently can tell the future. This startles the two men and start to question if its actually true or not as they continue their journey home
- Slide: 2
- As Shakespeare and Banquo continue their journey, they meet Ross and Anqus, coming from the king to tell Shakespeare he will be the new Thane of Cawdor, which is just what the witches predicted…
- This cannot be, the witches were right. Does this mean everything else will come true as well…
- You will be named the new Thane of Cawdor
- The original Thane has betrayed our country, and will be put to death for his treason
- Slide: 3
- When Macbeth hears of his new title, he is both shocked and confused. He pulls an aside and questions his true future and also starts to have bad thoughts and temptations in order to fulfill the last prediction
- If good, why do i yeild to the temptation to do something so terrible it makes my hair stand on end and my heart beat faster than every before
- This supernatural soliciting cannot be ill, cannot be good. If ill, why hath it given me earnest of success commencing in a truth?
- Glamis, and Thane of Cawdor. The greatest is behind.
- I think i just need to let it go. Whatever happens will happen. I guess i will just have to leave it to fate..
