- October 31st two kids Miles and Luke went around there town trick or treating. They approached a scary looking house.They knocked on the door but no one was home. They scanned the yard and in the grass they found a weird hand shaped figure .
- The two boys picked up the hand and took it home. when they got home they looked up what a monkey's paw does and why someone would have it.They read that a monkey's paw can grant three wishes,so the boys agreed on one wish.I wish we got way more candy tonight. Then they went to sleep dreaming that there candy would grow three times the size overnight.
- The next morning Miles woke up excited to see if there wish came true.In the corner of his room was a big pile of candy he was so happy he decided to wake up his friend Luke. But Luke wasn't there he searched the hole house and he was nowhere to be found.He asked his mom and she said she doesn't remember a kid named luke.Luke was erased from everyone's mind.
- Miles didn't care about the pile of candy he just wanted his best friend back. He remembered he still had two wishes so he used his second wish to wish that his friend came back. He heard a knock on the door.He opens the door and it was his friend luke but something was off about him.He didn't seem human.
- He went to go ask his mom if she remembers Luke to see if his wish actually worked.But his mom had died.All he wanted was for things to go back to normal but it was too late. There was nothing left for Miles, though he did get his friend back it still wasn't the same.
- Miles couldn't live like this everything that made him happy was gone. So for his final wish he wished that he was dead.
