  • I will not plow over my own son! I admit I am not crazy!

  • Follow me! Ride on the underside of the goats to escape the evil cyclops!
  • In order to avoid going to battle, Ulysses pretended to be crazy by plowing salt in his fields. Palemedes knew this was a trick, so he threw Ulysses infant son in front of the plow to see if he would plow over his son.
  • Quest (Example #2)
  • Ulysses had the idea of gifting the Trojans a wooden horse. Little did they know Ulysses and his men were sitting inside of the horse to secretly enter the walls of the city.
  • Ulysses hungry men get lured into a cave while Ulysses draws his sword which shows he is heroic. His men are greeted with a giant cyclops thirsty for human flesh. Ulysses has a plan to escape by blinding the cyclops and riding his goats out of the cave.
  • Triumphant Return
  • Ulysses is warned about the mermaids who are sirens who lure Ulysses and his men away from the quest by singing beautiful songs. Ulysses takes a large clump of beeswax and gives it to his men and tells them to soften bits of it and stick it in their ears. He tells his men to tie him up to the mast of the ship so he doesn't give in to the beautiful singing.

  • Ulysses had to battle the suitors, however, he was very much outnumbered so he had to think of a plan to bring them victory!
  • Ulysses returns disguised as a poor man and is only greeted by his loyal dog. The suitors try to string Ulysses' bow and when none of them can, Ulysses, still disguised asks for a try. He can properly string the bow and reveals is true identity.
  • Oh please let my try to string the bow!
