So base is the number or term or an expression that's being multiplied

BB: an example is 2*1 the base is 2 the exponent i 1.LB:so (x*1)*2 the base is (x*1) and the exponent is 2 .

When the are next to each other like b^8 *b^3you add the exponents together to get b^11

so do you remember what the zero exponent rule is.

so for an example X^0=1 so whenever the power is 0 everything is going to equal 1.
