- In 1848,violets family wanted to go to california for gold. Violet was a 10 year old girl who was ready for an adventure but was scared!
- im really scared!!!!
- uh oh the wagon is rockying a little bit it might not make it.
- Violet is now scared that she is going to drown she try's to swim back but starts to choke.
- PLEASE HELP SOMEONE
- OH MY GOD! THERE IS PEOPLE OVER THERE
- As they are crossing the river the wagon flips and the horses start to drown. They fall out the wagon and were sinking down in the water. Violet was super scared.

- A couple of days later, violet and her family got to a river. They had to cross the deep river and the water was going super fast. They were super scared the the wagon might not make it.
- Violet start to see another family coming toward her and her family. Violet was hoping that they came to save them. The strangers came to come and help violet and her family out the water.
