- The atmosphere contains carbon dioxide. This is removed by the process of photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is when plants use the energy from the sun to create food.
- "We need food."
- "Hoo! Hoo!" With his claws ready to snatch the prey.
- "Tweet!" "Peck! Peck!"
- The bird is a herbivore, which is eating the grass. The owl is a carnivore that is hunting its prey. Carbon is passed between the two animals.
- "We breath in oxygen and release carbon." "Moo!"
- Carbon is moved in to the soil when plants and animals die and decay. This can cause natural resources to form such as fossil fuel that are under high pressure.
- "We died 2 years ago."
- "Squeak! squeak!" The engine belts made driving through the city.
- Carbon can be transferred in the atmosphere in many ways. This bus uses fossil fuels that makes in run. It is then carbon released in gas form in the atmosphere.
- "My home absorbs carbon."
- "Keep making goods!"
- Humans create more and more carbon with big factories, using fossil fuels, coal, heating their homes, running their vehicles, etc.
