- How do you stay True to yourself?Staying true to yourself is a complicated thing to do. There are many things in life that distract you from what you want to be. The characters that I chose found a way to stay true to themselves. Hazel was focus on her goal to be a winner in the race. She also knew she had to protect her brother. Toby found a way to stay true by remembering his peoples power and also reminding them who they were. José stood true to himself by working hard and having a kind heart for his family and Mr. Clemens.
