- Caleb's first day didn't go the way he expected and everyone mistreated him.

- Caleb played video games to escape from reality and take away stress from school.

- The teasing will probably stop by middle school.
- Caleb wonders why Raymond cares so much and bullies him due to his obsessions on bright colors.

- Ew, he wears purple! I think he's gay. Looks like we found a match for you Jay!

- I'm sorry about Jimmy earlier. He also bullies me often. My name's Jay.

- It's alright I guess, nice to meet you.
- However, he found someone who comforted him from the bullies.
- Caleb had some rough experiences on his first day and was teased for wearing purple.

- Later that week, Caleb decided to make some changes to himself.

- One night, Caleb was thinking about his bad day, until he started brainstorming in order to not get bullied and fit in.

- This is so boring, but at least I don't get teased.
- I get you son but don't care about anyone on how they think about you. Be proud of your identity.
- Dad to be honest, I didn't go to practice because everyone is going to tease me.
- I wish I just had black or white cleats...
- What up Bryson. I'll see if I can because I'm busy.

- My dad gave me a great explanation but I'm still nervous.
- That night, Caleb's dad comforted him with words of encouragement but he had some fears in his head about being teased again.

- During school, Caleb saw many people whispering about him, but little did he know they were compliments.

- Caleb Kim was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He currently goes to Village Christian School in Sun Valley and is in the 9th grade. From Fitting in to Finding Myself is his first novel.
