- I think it be no other but e’en so. Well may it sort that this portentous figure Comes armèd through our watch so like the king

- Scene II
- ’Tis unmanly grief.It shows a will most incorrect to heaven,
- "Good Hamlet, cast thy nighted color off, And let thine eye look like a friend on Denmark"
- Scene III
- I do not know, my lord, what I should think.
- Affection, puh! You speak like a green girlUnsifted in such perilous circumstance.Do you believe his “tenders,” as you call them?
- Marry, I will teach you. Think yourself a babyThat you have ta’en these tenders for true pay,Which are not sterling.
- Hamlet introduces you with the ghost first adding a very dramatic effect being the first scene.
- Scene IV
- Still am I called. Unhand me, gentlemen. By heaven, I’ll make a ghost of him that lets me! I say, away!—Go on. I’ll follow thee.
- We come to find out Hamlet is dealing with his father's death and his uncle Claudius shows no care.
- Scene V
- But know, thou noble youth, The serpent that did sting thy father’s life Now wears his crown.
- Ophelia is Hamlet's girlfriend, but Polonius wants her to ignore him. She gives in and obeys.

- Horatio and Marcellus bring Hamlet to meet the Ghost. When the Ghost shows up, e beckons for Hamlet.
- Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.
- The Ghost explains he was killed by Claudius, so he asks for Hamlet tot avenge him.
- O, my prophetic soul! My uncle!
