  • Acts of the Apostles 9:1-30
  • Send letters to the synagogues in Damascus, and if there are any followers of Jesus, bring them to Jerusalem in chains.
  • Saul, still very angry and breathing murderous threats against the disciples, went to the High Priest
  • On his journey to Damascus, a light from the sky flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice
  • Saul, we can help you get to Damascus.
  • Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. Get up and go to the city now and you will be told what to do.
  • The men traveling with Saul stood speechless. They heard the voice, but saw no one
  • I can't see anything!
  • The Lord ordered a disciple named Ananias to go to Saul, so he could regain his vision
  • “Saul, my brother, the Lord has sent me, Jesus who appeared to you on the way by which you came, that you may regain your sight and be filled with the holy Spirit.”
  • I can see! Now please take me to be baptized!!!
  • After Saul was baptized, and after a long time had passed, the Jews conspired to kill him
  • The Jews are trying to kill me! Please help!!
  • Saul's disciples took him one night and let him down through an opening in the wall, lowering him in a basket
  • We can help you Saul!!!!
  • We can trust Saul, he has seen and spoken to the Lord.
  • When Saul arrived in Jerusalem, he met Barnabas. Barnabas took charge of him, bringing him to the apostles
  • Fine, go out and spread his message, and speak boldly in the name of the Lord.
