PLANT TRANSPORT SYSTEM

Storyboard Text

  • Slide: 1
  • In this scene Jhoanna told Taneo the 4 steps in the plant transport system.
  • In this scene Jhoanna asked Taneo if he knows the steps in the plant transport system.
  • No, can you tell me?
  • Ohhh, now i know the steps! Can you tell me there roles in the plant transport system?
  • Do you know the steps on the plant transport system?
  • There are 4 steps in the plant transport system. Which are the transpiration, root pressure, capillary action, and translocation.
  • Slide: 2
  • In this scene Jhoanna told Taneo the 2 steps in the plant transport system.
  • In this scene Jhoanna told Taneo the third step in the plant transport system.
  • Okay, now i'm excited to know the last step role is!
  • Ohh okay, i get it now!
  • Now let's go to the third step which is the capillary action it allows water to move upward through the narrow xylem vessels without external help.
  • Okay, now i will tell you there roles. First is the transpiration where the water absorbed by the roots travels through the plant. Second is the root pressure it pushes water from the roots into the xylem and upward to the plant.

  • In this last scene Jhoanna told the last step to Taneo and Taneo thanked her for telling the steps in the plant transport system.
  • Now i know the 4 steps in the plant transport system! Thank you Jhoanna!
  • No problem, Taneo! :)
  • Now it's time for you to know the last step in the plant transport system which is the translocation it's the process of transporting dissolved sugars and nutrients from the leaves to other parts of the plant through the phloem.
