  • Don't worry about those letters, I got one saying my kid would kill my husband years ago, but that never happened.
  • My kid died as a baby and my husband died outside the war zone visiting the trenches.
  • Climax
  • Mother?
  • Ugh I got to go...
  • Oedipus was the 101st President of the United States of Cox Nation. Before that, Oedipus had joined the army to escape a blackmail letter that predicted he would kill his father and marry his mother. He had led the entire army to victory over the Waksmonski Empire, but the people were desperate for a leader, as the 100th president, President Laius, had died in a mystery killing while visiting the battlefield. Promising in the press conference that he would save the country from a 2nd war, President Oedipus is struggling to know what he should do next.
  • Falling Action
  • JOCASTA NOOO!
  • Following the press conference, Oedipus met with his Vice President, Creon, who had just returned from reading the results of a nationwide survey. Creon told Oedipus that the results from the survey indicated the surefire way to cool down the country and save it from warfare would be to discover and prosecute the murderer of Laius and put a singular name to his death.
  • Resolution
  • Take me away Creon! I can't bare another second of this.
  • On the account of murder, I declare you to be sent away!
  • This reminded Oedipus of a special mission he'd taken during the war that took him out of the fighting zone during Laius’s visits, where he got into a fight and fired at what he believed to be enemy spies. As he looked at the descriptions of Laius, Oedipus noticed startling similarities between him and who he'd shot at. To make matters more confusing, the intel sent to his office revealed that his parents had died of old age, but were not his true parents. Hearing this news, Jocasta turned pale and fled the room. Confused, Oedipus called on the Chief Medical Advisor, who reluctantly agreed to the findings, and then let slip that Oedipus had been an adopted child, and that the only person he could find a matching DNA with was Jocasta.
  • The blackmail letter was true! I killed my father!
  • As the news leaked to the main media, Oedipus was full of agony, and rushed through the White House looking for Jocasta, only to find her in the Cabinet room, dead by her own hand. Oedipus cried when he saw her body, and removed a campaign button she still had fastened to her shirt. With the pointy end of the button, Oedipus gouged his own eyes out.
  • VP Creon entered upon that sorry sight, and lifted a weeping Oedipus from his knees. Oedipus begged to be imprisoned, sighting his own murder and relationship with his mother. Creon agreed, and Oedipus was sent away, a victim of blackmail.
