  • We will be having our first summative test. Please review cell theory.
  • OH MY GOD! ANOTHER TEST ALREADY. I BET YOU THIS ONE IS GOING TO BE REALLY HARD.
  • Dude, I have the world's hardest test tomorrow on cells, but the good part is that it is a 30 question test.
  • I hope you very good luck my friend for your "hard" test, and make sure to review the discussed lesson. You'll be all fine.
  • This test is really confusing! Do you mind helping me review?
  • First, you need to know the 2 different types of cells. The first type is plant cell and the other is the animal cell. The most important thing, don't forget that both of these types of cells have different parts. For example, the cell wall and vacuole are found only in the plant cell. Make sure you keep an eye at that!
  • The cell wall is found only in the plant cell. Help protects and supports the plant cell’s membrane. Cell Membrane is found in both types of cells. It is the Gatekeeper of the cell. Nucleus is found in both cells. It is the brain of the cell. Nucleolus is found in both types of cell. It creates ribosomes. Mitochondria is found in both types of cell. It is the powerhouse of the cell. Ribosomes is found in both types of cells. It produce proteins.
  • I hope this helped you. And make sure you know the function as well.
  • Cytoplasm is found in both types of cells. It is a Jellylike substance. Chloroplast is found only in a plant cell. Traps energy from sunlight, and uses it to make food. ER is found in both types of cells. Produces substances, and helps ribosomes. GA is found in both types of cells. It is the Warehouse of the cell. Vacuole is found only in the plant cell. It is the Storage Tank of the cell. Lysosomes are found in both types of cells. Digest energy needed by the cell.
  • Now let's review the microscope parts and functions. Eyepiece, Coarse Adjustment Knob, Fine Adjustment Knob,Body Tube, Arm, Nose Piece, Stage, Stage Clips, Diaphragm, Low Power Objective Lens, Medium Power Objective Lens, High Power Objective Lens.
  • Sure!
  • Let's watch a video on YouTube to learn more about cell theory.
  • Thank you, cousin. This helped me a lot. Now I can answer my summative test tomorrow with ease.
  • That's alot, but keep them in mind. Might help get an A.
  • The Cell Theory states that all living things are made of one or more cells, that cells are the basic unit of life, and that cells come only from other cells. The Cell Theory has been updated to include findings based on more recent findings.
