- In 1537, they were under the command of Fransisco Orellana that under orders of his cousin Fransisco Pizarro looked for a new place for the city called Santiago de Daule but they did not stay there either since Fransisco Orellana traveled to Cusco to support his cousin in his fight against Diego Almagro.
