- some dogs have ears that help them hear far away and some dogs have floppy ears to protect their ear drums.
- Longhorns have horns to defend themselves and their babies from predators by charging at the predator and swinging their horns around.

- Thick hooves so they can travel more then other types of cattle.
- They have flat teeth to eat plants and they can tolerate eating a wider variety of grasses then other types of cattle.

- Deer have scent glands on their forehead and they pee on their tarsal gland on their back legs because they communicate with scent

- They also have a very good sense of hearing that helps them communicate from a distance and hear predators coming.
- they have white tails so that if there is danger and they have to get away they flash their white tail and other deer no to run away
